individual therapy

Finding yourself struggling to find clarity or meaning? Consider taking the courageous step of beginning therapy for yourself. Individual therapy can provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, allowing you to gain valuable insights, develop coping skills, and build a stronger sense of self-awareness.

Specialty Areas

  • I greatly enjoy helping individuals facing an injury, career change, a relationship change, or general life adjustment. I utilize evidence-based practices to create a deep sense of peace and fulfillment.

  • While anxiety can be a natural and healthy part of the human experience, anxiety can often run out of control, threatening a person’s sense of peace and safety. People that experience anxiety often feel as if they are unable to "turn off" the worry or nervousness that they endure on a daily basis.

  • Difficulty in relationships is perhaps one of the most common issues for which individuals seek out mental health treatment. Whether it is with a family member, friend, or romantic partner, you shouldn’t have to face your relationship challenges on your own.

  • As an LGBT ally, my primary goal in therapy is to create an affirming environment where clients can feel validated, understood, and accepted for who they truly are. I aim to foster self-compassion, resilience, and personal growth. Ultimately providing a place of support and empowerment, helping individuals live authentically with confidence and pride.

  • From person to person, the process of mourning looks different for everyone. As an experienced grief counselor I would love to help you feel confident riding the waves of grief and finding the acceptance you need to move forward. While grief is unavoidably painful, it does not have to be experienced alone.

  • Managing stress means taking a holistic look at your unique triggers and figuring out how to move forward in a new way. It is my job to help you build a more satisfying life through utilizing new tools and strategies for combating the pressures of everyday life.

  • Experiencing trauma or a series of traumatic events can be distressing and isolating. Although the pain of trauma can be overwhelming, you are not alone or weak for what you are going through. I aim to build a calming environment that allows you to achieve a new level of resilience to move through life. It is necessary to talk about your pain and start to process the traumatic event itself. The best place to do this is with a mental health professional. You didn't bring your trauma upon yourself, but you can take steps to heal from it with the right support.
